Made entirely with tiny glass Japanese Delica seed beads, this beaded bracelet is a testament to the beauty of tiny details. Each bead was woven individually using needle and thread, in a process that takes time, patience and good eyesight!

Gray seed beaded bracelet

The flat, uniform shape of Delicas gives this beaded bracelet its sleek and smooth texture that’s almost like fabric. Since I was originally making this beaded bracelet for myself I chose modern, but timeless colors that would pair with any outfit. This piece is lightweight and flexible, yet durable enough for daily wear.

Watch It Come to Life

The design of the bracelet comes from the ever-talented Stephanie at BronzePony Beaded Jewelry.  Stephanie has a wonderful tutorial-based YouTube channel, so if you want to have a go and make one for yourself head over to her channel and start learning.  Trust me, you’ll be hooked once you see all the fun things you can make.

What Is Bead Weaving?

Bead weaving is a jewelry-making technique using small uniformed size beads that are stitched together one at a time using just a needle and thread. It’s a slow, detailed process that can be done by hand or by use of a beading loom.

This technique allows the beader to create beautiful intricate patterns with their beadwork. If you are intrigued and want to learn more, take a look at this handy beginners introduction into bead weaving: What is Bead Weaving? A Beginner’s Guide.
