You can wear it in a high pony (I suggest tying with a hair tie to keep hair in place first) or low ponytail.

Sculpted by hand, with polymer clay, this lightweight decorative ponytail clasp is hand painted metallic purple with the mermaid with her fish tail painted blue/green and purple. Her flowing tresses are yellow and her body is a pale gold. Small details include and oyster with a pearl, a clam and a sea shell along adding under the sea touches to the sides of the band.

On the reverse, the 50mm mermaid ponytail hair barrette is a quality "Made in France" clip. Squeeze the prongs to open the clip and snap to close. A nice strong fastening clip.
